McGovern, the chairman of the company’s board of directors, has been appointed executive chairman and assumed the functions of the company’s principal executive officer. James Spexarth, the company’s chief accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO.
U.S. oil and gas producer California Resources Corp. has appointed interim CEO Mark McFarland head. McFarland, who has served on the company’s board since its emergence from bankruptcy in October 2020, was appointed interim CEO in December, following the departure of Todd Stevens.

Frank’s International NV and Expro Group announced an agreement on March 11 to combine in an all-stock transaction expected to close in the third quarter. The combined company will assume the Expro Group name upon completion of the merger and be led by Mike Jardon, Expro’s current CEO. The company will also retain the Frank’s International brand name for its well construction solutions as part of the combination.
